MODEL: TORNADO (Pollution Control Bench)

The Media Blast Tornado is a down draft work bench designed for controlling dusty jobs involving grinding, sanding, and deburring. The units are totally self-contained, eliminating costly installation fees. No special electrical or ductwork is required. Media Blast Pollution Control Benches are portable and cost effective. Designed to create up to 500 feet per minute down draft tabletop velocity, the Tornado creates an even flow over the entire top work surface of the bench. Exhaust silencers () are included to eliminate noise and permit room/air discharge, eliminating costly air temperature loss.

Standard units are available with combinations of single and three phase electrical. All units include flourescent lighting; open or semi-enclosed to assembly, fiberglass bar grates (), cartridge filtration and dust removal pan assembly. Clean up problem areas while you protect the operator's environment, install a Media Blast Tornado today! Available in sit-down or stand-up models.

HEPA after filtration is also available as an option to fulfill needs caused by unusual applications.

All Tornado units are available in work station only, "Downdraft Workstation", models for connection to central dust collector or wet scrubber. The Tornado Work Bench has the internal dust collector and blower assembly removed and replaced with internal hopper assembly including customer specified dust outlet attachment ring.

NOTE: Because of the potential fire or explosion hazard, the manufacturer does not recommend using the downdraft workbench for welding applications or applications such as grinding or sanding of aluminum, titanium, or magnesium unless the downdraft is equipped with wet dust collection. Always check the material MSDS for any change in dust collection requirements.
